Matchbook is seeking an experienced Digital Strategist to join our creative agency team. As our agency's Digital Strategist, you will lead the development and implementation of integrated digital campaigns, build strategic roadmaps for project success, aid in raising brand awareness for clients, collaborate with agency departments on marketing campaigns, lead digital activation projects, and measure effectiveness of digital channels. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years professional experience developing or leading strategic digital marketing initiatives to be considered. Agency experience is highly preferred. Responsibilities:

  • Develops unique strategies and builds upon current client strategies within the digital arena to meet/exceed objectives
  • Works with content team to ensure strategy and objectives are met
  • Executes high-quality digital projects or campaigns, including planning and purchase of ad buys while ensuring campaigns are cost-effective/on budget
  • Proactively keeps abreast of assigned clients' marketing and media plans, and provides technological solutions including rich media, site optimization, promotional ideas, mobile, social networks, viral, etc.
  • Manages overall digital project scope
  • Collaborates with Account Executives to ensure team is aligned to client requirements, fosters timeline development and monitors campaign progress to ensure deadlines are met
  • Writes briefs, ensuring creative and digital media are effectively integrated
  • Manages research studies that yield rich insights into consumer online behavior and key motivational/attitudinal behavior
  • Develops a total understanding of client's online target audience and mindset/behaviors
  • Provides campaign performance reporting and analysis to clients
  • Actively participates in new business opportunities surrounding digital marketing and strategy
  • Manages multiple project timelines and budgets simultaneously
  • Bring forward cultural, social and industry trends to inform agency’s creative approaches
  • Foster and participate in a positive, collaborative and innovative environment within creative team and the other areas of the agency
  • Commitment to sharing of ideas and building a best-in-class agency team

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years professional experience in an agency developing digital strategies
  • Strong portfolio, including case study examples, strategies and execution planning
  • Proven understanding of the digital media landscape and methodologies surrounding this area of marketing initiatives
  • Experience leading designers, production specialists and writers
  • Critical eye for detail
  • Experience meeting clients and presenting your work
  • Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution
  • An ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
  • Efficient organizational skills and dedication to the creative team
  • Eagerness to collaborate with other creative individuals
  • Leadership abilities to foster learning and excellence among team members
