Account Executive/Account Manager

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE AT AN ADVERTISING OR MARKETING AGENCY TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION.

Matchbook is seeking an experienced account service professional to support our clients and work with the Creative team to execute creative services projects including brand strategies, marketing campaigns and creative deliverables. Successful candidates will have a robust understanding of the advertising industry and previous project management experience. They will be a confident communicator both internally and externally, capable of managing multiple projects, reviewing work and organizing deadlines. Candidates will need to be detail oriented, and work well under pressure.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role is primarily responsible for delivering full customer service, leading the way in retaining and growing client relationships. Working alongside all departments in the agency, the AE’s key responsibilities include:


– Day to day project management and tracking of client accounts
– Manages day-to-day needs of account and maintains daily client contact and follow-up
– Coordinates internal team assignments and oversees timely completion
– Works with client to identify new business and to grow client partnerships
– Engages senior management in an appropriate manner regarding client concerns
– Participates in tactical planning and scope development
– Attends/leads/schedules/manages client meetings
– Oversees development of internal documentation
– Pursues an understanding of the client’s industry, category, and brand
– Ensures deliverables developed are on strategy, on budget and on time

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

– A minimum of 4 years experience in an advertising/marketing agency is required
– Professional, articulate and able to communicate well with client and team members
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent spelling and grammar
– Technically savvy/literate, comfortable with office and project management applications
– Ability to work collaboratively in teams to meet project goals and deadlines
– Must be a 'self-starter’ with the ability to work with limited supervision
– Strong attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team
– Strong sales and customer service skills
– Proficiency with numbers, budget and time management
– Ability to present ideas, negotiate and problem solve

Employment Type: Full-time
Pay scale for this position is commensurate with experience.
