Account Strategist John Cavanaugh applies his versatile writing and editing skills to the benefit of clients in his position with Matchbook. Crafting written content that both adheres with our clients’ strategy and voice and connects with their audiences, John’s approach allows him to effectively communicate, no matter the objective or industry.
Previously serving as a copywriter for two years with Matchbook, John’s expertise in the field of written communications fueled success for clients ranging from individual advertisements or pieces of collateral, to integral and large-scale messaging.
In addition to his Bachelor of Science in Advertising at Ball State University and freelancing experience, John has also built his skills in writing and his eye for strategy through leadership experience as Creative Director in AAF’s National Student Advertising Competition and as Executive Director of Adapt, a student-run advertising agency at Ball State. John is passionate about environmental causes, the preservation of historical sites and information, and publicly funded radio and television.
